Students admitted to KU fall 2016 through summer 2020 must complete a minimum of 42 hours in journalism courses. The candidate must have at least a 2.5 KU grade-point average overall and in all journalism courses at KU. The candidate must have earned at least 45 hours in upper-division courses, numbered 300 and above.
